Beckham went to the Doctor today for his 6 month visit. Colby had the day off so he got to come with us! Beckham weighs 16 lbs 12 oz and he is 26 & 1/2 inches long! The doctor said that his bottom gums are pretty swollen and that he might be getting his bottom tooth in a couple of weeks. He had a really hard time with his shots this visit. He usually does really good. I hate shots. I feel so bad for him :( Colby was like that was the sadest thing I have ever seen! He also had a new milestone! He now gets to eat food! He had carrots for the first time. I think he sort of liked it! He didn't really spit it out. He actually is a lot cleaner when he eats baby food than when he eats a bottle! Beckham loves to take sips of my water out of my cup, he does really good so I bought him a sippy cup! He liked it at first and did really good then all of a sudden he decided he doesn't like it and makes the funniest face when I try to give it to him! I will have to put it away and try again in a week. He has also started screaming to the top of his lungs he thinks its so funny! We went to Bretts house yesterday night for my Dads Birthday and my brothers and Bretts friends were all talking so loud and Beckham just started screaming over all of them. Everyone stoped talking and we all turned our attention to Beckham he just looked up at us and started laughing! He wanted to put his input into the conversation! He is getting to be so fun with such a cute personality! We just love our little guy so much, and are so glad he is a healthy and happy baby!
Also I hear Grandma JoAnn is mad at me because my blog font is to small and hard to read. I will now make it bigger so Grandma can read it! :)

That is so fun :) It is scary how fast they grow up! I can't believe he is already eating baby food! I am totally with you on the shots thing... I always tear up when they give Kaydence her shots... She will be due for hers in a few weeks and I am dreading it! I am also glad to know that Kaydence isn't the only baby that screams and thinks its funny lol.
A 16 pounder!!! That is funny that he loves to hear his own voice and screams. I will have to point out to Granny that your font is bigger, that's funny!
It was so great talking to you. I feel so bad though, cause we didn't get a chance to talk about Beckham! I'm so sorry! So I'm glad that you posted the update so I could get the new scoop. Baby food is so fun because they can make the funniest faces :) It still makes me sad that I haven't seen him, and he's growing up so fast! But hopefully things work out so we can see a lot more of each other ;) (come on bug spray!!!! :) )
